This starts by providing breastfeeding education and assistance during the hospital stay, and continues through our breastfeeding support programs. This prestigious designation is awarded to hospitals that excel in providing optimal care for infant feeding and mother–baby bonding.

Our doctors are experts in vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Women interested in having a vaginal birth after cesarean, also known as VBAC, are counseled, informed, and assisted throughout pregnancy and delivery.

High-risk pregnancy experts with our maternal–fetal medicine services team manage conditions that can affect pregnancy, including preterm labor, genetic abnormalities, hypertension, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and autoimmune diseases, such as lupus. Our Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) at Tisch Hospital, , and �����Ƶ Hospital—Brooklyn are equipped to care for babies born before 37 weeks of pregnancy, including those with a very low birth weight and other medical conditions.
